STITCH EXPLANATION:

sc2tog (sc decrease) Insert hook into st and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next st and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook.

BODY
With A, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in first ch; place a marker to indicate beg of rnd; move marker up as each rnd is completed.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around – 12 sc.
Rnd 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc; rep from * around – 18 sc.
Rnd 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * around – 24 sc.
Rnd 5: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc; rep from * around – 30 sc.
Rnds 6–29: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 30: *Sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc; rep from * around – 24 sc.
Rnd 31: *Sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * around – 18 sc.
Rnd 32: *Sc2tog, sc in next sc; rep from * around – 12 sc.
Rnd 33: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 34: Sc in next 3 sc, (2 sc in next sc) 6 times, sc in next 3 sc – 18 sc.

Stuff piece and continue to add stuffing as work progresses.
Shape Head
Rnd 42: *Sc2tog, sc in next 7 sc; rep from * around – 24 sc.
Rnd 43: *Sc2tog, sc in next 6 sc; rep from * around – 21 sc.
Rnd 44: *Sc2tog, sc in next 5 sc; rep from * around – 18 sc.
Rnd 45: *Sc2tog, sc in next 4 sc; rep from * around – 15 sc.
Rnd 46: Sc in each sc around.
Following package directions, attach safety eyes.
Rnd 47: *Sc2tog, sc in next 3 sc; rep from * around – 12 sc.
Rnd 48: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 49: *Sc2tog, sc in next 2 sc; rep from * around – 9 sc.
Rnd 50: Sc in each sc around.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Weave tail through last rnd and gather tightly. Knot to secure.

LEGS (make 4)
With A, ch 2.

Fasten off.
